Administrative proceedings
Representation of clients before EEOC, MDCR, OSHAA, federal and state departments of labor.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
The firm has extensive experience in drafting all forms of arbitration clauses, employee handbooks, personnel policies and procedures.  We regularly engage in facilitative mediation and other forms of ADR.  Several attorneys with the firm have been certified by the Michigan Supreme Court as facilitative mediators.

We represent clients engaged in arbitration in the private and public employer settings.  We also regularly counsel clients with pending grievances to most effectively and efficiently resolve these matters.

Collective Bargaining
The firm represents public and private sector clients in collective bargaining.  The range of services include serving as chief spokesman or alternatively as a resource for clients who are negotiating their own contracts.

Disability Law
The firm has handled numerous cases involving federal and state disability statutes.  We have presented seminars on issues affecting employers and employees regarding the state and federal laws pertaining to disability law.

EEO Litigation
Our attorneys handle a large number of discrimination suits in federal and state courts.  We also handle discrimination claims before the Department of Civil Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.   The firm also provides in-house seminars on civil rights and equal employment law.  These seminars are available to our clients at no cost on topics of interest.

Our office handles matters before National Labor Relations Board and the Michigan Employment Relations Commission.  The scope of our representation includes elections, representation hearings and defense of unfair labor practice charges.

Public Employer Labor Relations
We have experience representing public employers in all facets of the relationships with organized labor.

Strikes and Lockouts
Our experience with strikes and lockouts includes pursuing unfair labor charges with the NLRB and injunctions with state courts.
